  So here i am thinking i can get a smog done quick and easy.... Not the case. Lets start with the smog technicians greeting, not nice at all. When I was asked for the keys i told him they where in the car and it was still running... I proceeded to tell him it was a turbo model and it needs time to cool down before shutting off, he replies with the rudest of tunes, I HAVE TO SHUT IT OFF DURING THE SMOG... yes he shouted that at me at me. I completely understood he had to shut the car off. car goes into the bay. After about 10 min i hear him peg the rev limiter 5.5k, 2006 WRX COBB tune set to economy mode. yeah so he revs it out, now i've had many car smoged and never have i had a technician rev a motor to its red line. After the smog was complete he tells me it failed, he says from an O2 sensor low voltage "check engine light", okay so then he tells me it failed because of a COBB tune device was plugged into the OBDII port and that it's illegal, so why does my SMOG paperwork say failed because of O2 and his carbon copy say smog declined. Should he have not declined right when he saw the device installed, and should i have to pay for this service? Keep in mind he was shouting at me constantly.
